Over the last few months, two new placement students and one full time Marketing Coordinator have joined the BDC Team! Let’s get to know them…
First up, joining the Marketing Department from her previous agency based role is Yasmin Ansari (pictured)…
Yasmin Ansari
Yasmin is the new Marketing Coordinator at the Business Design Centre. Coming from a digital marketing agency background with a degree in Business Management with Marketing, she wishes to pursue a long-term career in the events and marketing space. Specialising in Instagram and TikTok, she also independently runs a blog, which focuses on photography, videography, and reviewing food and activity locations within London and beyond.
Outside of the marketing world, Yasmin enjoys attending immersive exhibitions at the likes of 180 The Strand, and is a passionate foodie and music-lover. She is also beginning to pick up on travelling, particularly city breaks, and hopes to visit multiple destinations over the next year.
The Internship Programme
The Business Design Centre is committed to helping the industry nurture the events industry, by annually offering placements in its Venue Services and Venue Sales departments. For the past 11 years, this internship programme has been an integral part of the company. The students themselves provide fresh perspectives in how the business can incorporate new industry knowledge into the foundations of the company. All whilst they learn practical skills and knowledge that is integral for the events career that they are studying for. The BDC prides itself in the people that make up the company, and this is reflected in how many of these return after being on the internship programme having graduated from university.
Reanna Reilly
Reanna is an Events Management student from Manchester Metropolitan University. She enjoys going to the gym, socialising with friends and attending music events. For the year ahead, she is looking forward to her year in the Venue Services Department and to watching how the upcoming events unfold. Additionally, she is excited to get to know her team better and begin working the service desk in support of the exhibitors who attend the shows.

Kirsty Jakulis
Kirsty is an Events Management and Marketing student at the University of Hertfordshire. She has recently joined the Venue Sales Department as their Event Assistant. She enjoys socialising with friends and occasionally going to the gym. Kirsty is looking forward to learning how the Business Design Centre organise and run successful events.
